Carbon Disclosure Project: Report 2009

This report highlights the actions of the top 200 Indian companies in reducing emissions as well as adapting to the direct impacts of climate change.

 

It also identifies the challenges faced by the Indian industry in view of an uncertain international climate regime.

The report brings out the challenges Indian companies are facing and outlines how they have integrated the long-term value and costs of climate change impacts into the assessment of the financial health and future prospects of their usinesses.

 

This report documents the response of the Indian business community to climate change; hether they view climate change as a risk or an opportunity, the absolute emissions levels,  emissions intensity, performance ver time, benefits, and the management strategy.
