Cultural fit and ethical compatibility are increasingly recognised as important elements of successful business relationships, from joint ventures to mergers and acquisitions. In this report by David Lascelles, a systematic framework for identifying integrity risk is suggested to encourage organisations to employ Ethical Due Diligence (EDD) alongside financial and legal due diligence. Ethical Due Diligence is based on interviews with companies and experts. It describes the process of EDD and shows by means of case studies how it is being applied and shows how it can be deployed to support business decisions.
