Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Centre plays an important part in developing entrepreneurial talent, capacity, skills and support in both the Western Cape and the rest of South Africa. Numerous outreach programs have been developed to provide opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs to interact with highly skilled and energetic MBA students, Business School faculty, business mentors and advisors.
Managing Infrastructure Reform & Regulation
The Management Programme in Infrastructure Reform & Regulation (MIR) strives to be a leading centre of excellence and expertise for Africa and other emerging and developing economies. Based at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, MIR aims at enhancing understanding and building capacity to manage reform and regulation of infrastructure sectors, in support of sustainable development.

Other Initiatives

Emerging Leaders Programme

The retreats explore such themes as ethics and accountability in public life, strategies for personal renewal and African and other paradigms of leadership and their relevance for those working to transform their institutions and communities.
Civil Society Forum
Civil society leaders (including foundation executives) from South Africa and the United States annually come together to share insights on key issues facing the sector in South Africa.
