Description
AGH-UST educates students at all types of courses:
full-time, part-time, doctoral and postgraduate, offering a wide scope
of education adapted to current trends on the labour market.
The educational offer encompasses 30 branches of studies, including 170 specializations run at 15 faculties and Inter-Faculty School of Biomedical Engineering.
Starting from the academic year 2007-2008, AGH University of Science and Technology introduces a three-tier system of education, the so-called Bologna System.
First degree (6-7 terms) finishes with receiving the degree of Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts,
Second degree (3-4 terms) finishes with receiving the degree of Master of Science or Master of Arts,
Third degree - doctoral studies - preparing students for independent research and teaching, finishes with receiving the degree of doctor.
