The Centre for Business Organisations and Society (CBOS) was established in order to provide a forum for research in the area of Business and Society. CBOS is both issue based and interdisciplinary and its members are drawn from a range of functional backgrounds which encompass sociology, organisational behaviour, international business, marketing, economics and finance and accounting.

Our Big Energy Challenge
This is a Treasury part-funded project with the aim of saving at least 10% of our energy usage in the next 3 years. The School of Management has appointed its own ‘Energy Champions’ who have been trained in ways to reduce energy consumption and they are now challenging and encouraging all School staff to think of all the ways they can be more energy efficient and environmentally aware.
