The MA is designed for two types of student, graduates from a humanities, social science or natural science background who wish to undertake a course of study in management which focuses on business in the European Union, and graduates in management who wish to deepen their knowledge of European business and develop their research skills. It also offers both groups the chance to enhance their language skills.On completion of the course,you will have: • A thorough appreciation of the economic, political and social aspects of European business • A full understanding of management functions and corporate strategy within a European context • A range of important career enhancing management skills • The tools and techniques required to complete successfully a research project in the field of European business • Improved language skills in either French, German,Spanish or Japanese • An understanding of the problems faced by speakers of a second non-native language
