Within the Darden School, faculty collaboration around BiS and CR issues occurs among the Olsson Center and the Batten Institute in research, seminars, and other knowledge development.
Within the larger University of Virginia, Darden and its faculty are actively invovled in the Institute for Practical Ethics and Public Life at the University of Virginia.
The Business Roundtable Institute for Corporate Ethics, housed at the Darden School, is an independent entity established in partnership with Business Roundtable - an association of 160 CEOs from leading companies - to renew and enhance the link between ethical behavior and business practice.
Within the Darden School, faculty collaboration around BiS and CR issues occurs among the Olsson Center and the Batten Institute in research, seminars, and other knowledge development.
Within the larger University of Virginia, Darden and its faculty are actively invovled in the Institute for Practical Ethics and Public Life at the University of Virginia.
The collaboration between the Olsson Center for Applied Ethics and the Business Roundtable Insitute for Corporate Ethics has resulted in practitioner papers (Including "Developing Ethical Leadership," and "Company Stakeholder Responsiblity: A New Approach to CSR"), teaching cases used in professional associations, and an on-line simulation utilized by students and executive education participants.
The Batten Institute invests in applied research and outreach programs to achieve thought leadership and academic preeminence. Projects sponsored by the Insititute illuminate the best practices in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Net Impact at Darden, Building Goodness-In-April (BGIA) and Opportunity Consultants, Inc. are students clubs of our school that are active in BiS issues.
