Description
The FBE first began offering courses in 1986 in Business and Economics program. Now we offer a comprehensive portfolio of programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level. Fourteen undergraduate, four masters and one Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs are offered in our Faculty. Our academic departments cover a vast array of scholarly and applied knowledge.
Our faculty and staff members are highly student-oriented, and they enjoy their work. More importantly, our students and their families are assured that their time and money are well invested at Eastern Mediterranean University. The faculty members are extremely well qualified. All of our full-time faculty members have doctorates in their respective fields. They remain current in their teaching fields through research and publications and many of our faculty also have significant experience in the business world.
Eastern Mediterranean University is a student-oriented institution where teaching has the highest priority. Students' ratings of teaching are taken very seriously in our faculty evaluation process. Student satisfaction in our faculty is the second highest at the University. In addition, our faculty and staff members promote and support student clubs and extracurricular activities.
While most of our students are from Turkey and North Cyprus, we have many students from all parts of the world including Nigeria, Cameroon, Iran, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Roamania, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and they comprise 18% of the total student population in our faculty. The diversity of our students and faculty enrich the educational experience at the FBE.
We reach out to the global community through international conferences, research centers and student clubs. Our Faculty has been accepted as a member to the prestigious accreditation bodies: the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
