Executive Masters Program in Banking and Finance

The executive masters program in Banking and Finance aims to give senior executives the opportunity to develop specialized analytical skills applicable to their professional interests. Areas of study include corporate finance, investment appraisal, project finance, investments, international finance, risk evaluation, consumer credit, personal finance, and mortgage lending, among others.

M.Sc. Program in Economics

The objective of the Master’s program in economics is to provide advanced training in the application of economic theory and quantitative methods for the analysis of economic problems and the design of economic policies.

Ph.D. Program in Economics

The objective of the Ph.D. program in economics at Eastern Mediterranean University is to equip its graduates with the skills in economic theory, quantitative methods and policy analysis to be able to teach economics at an advanced level, and to conduct economic research and analyze economic problems and policies with a highest level of professionalism.

M.A. PROGRAM IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR) is initially offered as a terminal program for those who have obtained a BA degree in related fields and wish to continue their studies, as well as mid-career officials from public and private organizations. Furthermore, MA program provides the foundations for a Ph.D. Program, which the Department intends to offer in the future.

Human Resource Management

In the Human Resource Management course the instructors discuss issues of CR/BiS as well as employee well-being, employee-employer relationship, corporate social responsibility and other related issues.

Organisational Behvariour

In the Organisational Behaviour course, one of the topics that we stress is decision making, with a particular focus on decision making when faced with ethical dilemmas. In order to make our students see the importance of ethics in business, we confront them with several examples of ethical dilemmas and make them work through some of these either individually or in groups. We also provide them real examples of both ethical and unethical practices from the business world.

Leadership and Change Management'

This class evokes the question of ethical leadership and the larger question of bringing about positive changes in corporations, which may be strategic changes, a reorganization, or changes in attitudes towards ethics, minorities etc.

Undergraduate Program

We offer two compulsory/core courses at the Bachelors level, which address the issues of CR/BiS. These courses are Human Resource Management and Organisational Behvariour.

MSc in Managing Diversity

The Master of Science in Managing Diversity (MSc MD) is directed towards the needs of leadership and management in corporate and other organisations. This MSc also targets the needs of consultants, advisors and trainers who prepare people for assignments in other countries or who in some way have to deal with the questions of diversity in their work lives.

The Master of Sciences in Managing Diversity (MSc MD) prepares students for employment in HRM, public relations and related occupational fields.

Master of Science in Sustainable Development Management

Companies are increasingly required to be responsible not only for their economic performance but also for their social, ethical and environmental impacts both locally and worldwide. This programme will enable students to take advantage of the opportunities arising from new european and international developments, both legal and social, in sustainable development including the economic, social, ethical and environmental dimensions of company strategy and operations.
